Duty-Paid Storage

With 10,000 m² of storage space, Özcan Pamuk runs duty-paid (domestic) storage seamlessly. Goods in the domestic warehouse are either sourced from the local market or imported with duties paid, and are stored in Mersin.

Bonded Storage

With approximately 15,000 m² of bonded warehouse space in Mersin, Özcan Pamuk holds cotton and cotton waste under customs supervision and brokers its onward sale to buyers in Türkiye or to many countries around the world.

Alongside product supply, Özcan Pamuk carries out handling services smoothly within a defined programme and sequence of operations.

Handling is a critical step in import and export, and thanks to our professionalism it runs flawlessly. The process covers every detail: customs entry into the country, entry customs at Mersin, forklift services, storage, interim transport, FOB shipment by vessel and door delivery to another country.

The entire journey of cotton arriving from Central Asia and many other countries until it lands in Mersin is carefully planned and executed. Caring as much about the quality of the process as the quality of the product, Özcan Pamuk plans the export leg just as precisely — to Bangladesh, Vietnam, Pakistan and many more countries — and follows every shipment until it is delivered to the customer's address.

At our USTER HVI laboratory in Mersin, our professional team accurately tests our own cotton as well as that of our suppliers and customers whenever required, giving great care to product quality. We analyse cotton, cotton waste and similar fibre products — our own as well as our suppliers' and buyers' — in our HVI laboratory with an experienced team of classers, resolving and reporting on a wide range of quality issues.

The moisture content of cotton bales is decisive for both weight and quality at the point of purchase and sale. We measure moisture bale by bale with calibrated instruments and report the results, preventing potential weight and quality disputes between parties.
